Four Rooftop Bars In Dubai To Soak In The Views

What’s better than an ice-cold beer or perfectly mixed cocktail in a balmy Dubai evening? We've put together a list of some of our favourite rooftop bars to enjoy a sundowner and take in the Autumn heat, all available to explore through the Playbook.

Monkey Bar

Our first recommendation is Monkey Bar, located at 25hours Hotel. Monkey Bar, open from 5pm daily, is a party destination, with exceptional cocktails that have a touch of tiki, a Latin inspired menu and a consistently buzzing vibe. The décor is laid back, South American inspired with mosaics, rattan and tonal linens. The rooftop jungle’s outdoor terrace is the place to be with a stunning view of the Museum of the Future surrounded by Dubai’s impressive architecture. A sundownder here is more than memorable.

SomePlace Else

SomePlace Else is out next rooftop recommendation, an urban rooftop bar located at Radisson Blu Media City. The perfect post-work spot has been given a serious makeover since it was formerly Tamanya Terrace, with neon light signs, hanging plants, and stool seating, as well as two large TV screens showing sporting events and live music DJ sets kicking off at 8pm. Someplace Else’s menu includes crowd pleasers like pizzas, as well as exciting offerings like plant-based bao buns and loaded wedges as well as an impressive list of drinks to chose from.

Maiden Shanghai

For a very boujee night out that features the ultimate Instagram skyline backdrop and a luxe array of small plates and drinks, check out Maiden Shanghai. Located at FIVE Hotel, and dubbed the best skyline view of Dubai, Maiden Shanghai is more than just its appearance. Winner of the BBC Good Food Awards 2021 for their Fine Dining Brunch, and Time Out Dubai Nightlife Awards Best Party Brunch, Maiden Shanghai has an incredible menu of MSG-free and organic gourmet Chinese dishes, and also hosts a private karaoke room.

Pure Sky Lounge

Our final rooftop recommendation is Pure Sky Lounge, a rooftop with 180 panoramic views of Ain Dubai, Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeriah. The bar and restaurant are relaxing and tranquil with incredible ocean views that go on for miles. Situated at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, Pure Sky lounge is an idyllic spot to enjoy a cocktail with friends, or for a date night, with contemporary sharing food. Open daily from 5pm-3am, Pure Sky Lounge also has a Wednesday Ladies Night with 3-hours of unlimited selected cocktails and 35% off on food for just AED99 (7pm-12am).
